I would've been on here earlier with this but I've had a rather busy day with my second child. She just turned 6 and we spent most of the day playing around and trying to keep out of trouble. Since her birthday falls so close to Thanksgiving it's always kind of hard to decide when to throw a party and actually have people show up. I've found that having it a week or two early will get people to come but once Thanksgiving has arrived you can pretty much write it off.
Because of work and all we haven't had a party as of yet but was thinking of doing something next weekend. While my wife and I were discussing it the birthday girl strolled in and announced that she didn't want a party so much she'd much rather take a few friends and go bowling. Sounded kind of strange to me but if that's what she wants then bowling it is..lol.
I can say that even though it was just our little family for her today we all had a blast, especially when it was time to start chasing her around the house for her birthday swats. I had no idea she was so fast..lol. Anyway I just wanted to write a bit about her and her special day and how time just seems to be flying by.
Just having her dad chase her around the house was special I'm sure! Happy Birthday to Frostyone's daughter!
Happy Birthday little fast one!
(*pinkgrins*!)
Man, I wish someone would still chase me around trying to swat my behind on my birthday.
Sigh.
Tell the wee one I said "Happy Birthday".
Happy b-day to the little fast second child of frosty. Now, lessee...6 spankings for being 6 plus 1 for luck plus 1 or 2 for being so fast equals 210 spankings! Oh, wait...I'm adding not using fuzzy math, okay so that is 8 or 9 depending. <G>
What a lovely family party! She'll remember this forever, which is how it should be. They grow up so fast, it is hard to keep up with them.
Happy Birthday to the little frostygirl!

Sounds like the perfect way for a little one to spend the day!
Happy birthday to the little # 2 frosty kid!

Yes, "Holiday time" birthdays are kinda the pits! Mine is dec.16, and we were very poor. I hated that it was so close to Christmas that I hardly ever got presents or a party. But when I was 6, my family started putting our Christmas tree up on my birthday, as a present, my mom had a really old blown glass star that NO ONE was allowed to touch, and they started letting *me* put the star on top of the tree. When I was old enough to move out, I continued that same tradition (alas, without the star). But every year on my birthday, kids and family come over for a pot luck and we put up the tree. ♥
Happy Birthday, Little Frosty! :-)
